Maternity Dresses for Fall

**All Dresses are 25% OFF through the weekend**

“Bring on Fall!!” - says every preggo girl who’s endured the summer heat!

I’ve already worn this rust colored dress so much! The color is amazing - a true ‘rust’ - and the lightweight fabric could not be more comfortable. The stretchy waist makes for an easy throw on that can be dressed up or down.

I’m still rocking my favorite beaded slides - they are a dressy neutral that will take me into boot weather!

This off-the-shoulder number is also 25% off through the weekend! Comfy and versatile, I love the flowy fabric! And the option it gives to wear sleeves!

I have it paired with my new Madewell slides!

mun moisturizer

**Use my code ROSEWATER for 15% OFF of your MUN purchase**

If you only buy one skincare product this month, this is it.  MUN Skincare is hands-down the favorite skincare line for my readers.  From their AMAZING Aknari Brightening Serum to the Anarose Toner that I'm obsessed with, this minimal and pure line is absolutely one of the best.  MUN has just released a new product and it is a MUST HAVE for EVERYONE.

Enter the AMAN Protect + Revive Moisturizer. (Released Today, Friday September 7th!)  It's not too thick, not greasy and the perfect amount of moisture.  It has a lotion-like consistency and it will absolutely save my skin during the drier months that are upon us.

I had the chance to speak with the founder, Munemi, earlier this year.  See that post here.  We went over all of the MUN products and I was so impressed with the intentionality that goes into her products.  And then you try them and they really perform!

Mun skincare aman

Aman Revive + Protect Moisturizer is the perfect addition to the MUN Skincare Regimen.  If you are looking for a creamy moisturizer - this is it!

I was always intrigued by desert grown plants such as our signature ingredient Prickly pear cactus. They grow in such harsh environment with very little water, yet they retain so much moisture, vitamin and antioxidants. AMAN is inspired by those desert grown ingredients including Prickly pear seed, Kalahali melon seed, Black cumin seed oils and Australian desert grown fruits extracts, which is so potent with high antioxidant.
— Munemi
mun skincare

"Aman is Berber for “water,” evoking the moisture retaining abilities of the desert harvested botanicals that inspired this hydrating gel cream.

Formulated with Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), vitamins, and antioxidant rich desert harvested extracts among other key ingredients, this protective moisturizer improves the skin’s barrier function and increases moisture to effectively brighten while boasting anti-aging and anti-pollution benefits.

Benefits:

  • Improves barrier function to increase moisture and prevent water loss
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Helps brighten sun-induced hyperpigmentation and evens out skin tone
  • Protects from urban pollutants and environmental stress
  • Suitable for all skin types

Skincare in your 30's

skin care in your thirties

Lately, I've had a handful of women that are around my age telling me that they want to START taking care of their skin.  I'm always a little stunned in the moment, because skincare has been on the radar for me for quite a while.  Most of these women have also never dealt with problematic skin, so when they start to see their skin change in their 30's - it's really the first time they have thought about skincare.  I have dealt with breakouts since I was a teen, so I have had an am/pm regimen for as long as I can remember.  And then I turned 30.  And it seemed like overnight, I had different skin issues. My overly oily skin was now dry.  I rarely have a breakout, but I'm noticing some fine lines.  I've had to totally re-learn my skin.  And getting to know your skin does require a little effort, but it does not have to be overwhelming.

non toxic skincare in your thirties

Friends, IT'S TIME to start taking care of your skin.  I've created this little guide to help you!  In order to care for your skin, you have to take a minute each evening to think about your skin.  It doesn't have to be super in-depth.  When you get ready for bed, just think for a second - "how's my skin doing today?" Is it dry? Is it broken out?  Does it feel heavy + congested?  Then, tailor your routine that evening to address your concern.

First things, first.  Cleanse.

You should be washing your face every night.  Yes.  Every single night.  Do not sleep with your makeup on.  If you didn't wear makeup - do not sleep with your sweat/pollution on.  I love to use an oil cleanser because it doesn't dry me out and helps to remove everything.  My favorites are One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleanser and MUN Akwi Purifying Cleanser (Code ROSEWATER for 15% OFF).  Lately, I've been using the Beautycounter Charcoal Bar (so good!) to help combat my pregnancy breakouts.  And if you suffer from skin conditions like Perioral Dermatitis, the Black Clay Soap from Osmia Organics is great.

FYI - I personally do not use a cleanser in the morning.  I will splash with water or a toner and use my Jade Roller for plumping!  I don't like to wash of all of that hard work that my products did throughout the nighttime!

This is so important. Exfoliate.

You must exfoliate.  When you exfoliate, you slough off old skin and your body creates new skin.  This is often referred to as cell turnover.  Skin cell turnover is so crucial because it requires your body to create new (younger) and fresher skin.  Exfoliation also unclogs pores, so your skin is more even + balanced...with fewer breakouts.  I recommend exfoliating 2-3 times/week, based on your individual skin.  Once you learn to assess your skin needs and see the difference exfoliation makes, you'll be able to decide how often you should personally exfoliate.

I've raved about it for weeks now, but I keep my exfoliation simple with the Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel.  It does the work while I sleep and I swear my skin looks SO, SO much better the next day!  I can really see a difference.  About once a week (or every other week), I use this scrub.  I save a scrub for a day when my skin feels heavy, congested and like it just needs to lighten up a little ;)

Time to Tone.

Toning is the forgotten step.  But it's SO IMPORTANT.  It's all about bringing balance back to your skin.  I really only use one Toner - the Mun Anarose (code ROSEWATER for 15% OFF). You can read more about it here. I'm sure there are a lot of other great toners out there, but this one has been specifically formulated to bring your skin back to it's natural balance of a pH of 4.8.  I think it's great.  I simply apply to a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face.  I also mist it at any point of the day when I need added hydration or brightening.

Make sure you moisturize.

It seems like there are so many moisturizers, serums, oils and lotions...do how do you choose?  Test them.  Order samples or travel sizes.  Go into your local green beauty boutique and ask for a sample!  They are usually an investment, so find what works for your skin.  My TOP PICK is the MUN Aknari Brightening Youth Serum.  See more of my thoughts on it here and receive 15% off with my code ROSEWATER! The other product that I reach for in my cabinet most often is the Beautycounter Balancing Facial Oil.  This one is great if you deal with breakouts AND dryness!  It seems counter-intuitive, but adding good oils back to your skin helps combat breakouts.  A lot of times, breakouts occur when our skin is too dry and our body overcompensates by producing oil to help hydrate your skin.  This overproduction of oil can cause clogged pores and lead to those nasty white + black heads!  So, moisturizing is super important!

Also, drink water.  Hydrate from the inside out.

If creams/lotions are more your thing, I get it!  It's so hard to make the switch to an oil when you've been moisturizing with a cream your entire life.  For a cream, I like One Love Organics Skin Dew.

Eye care about your skin.

Eye care.  I think this is the number one most overlooked step that's so crucial.   You've got to apply eye cream day + night!!  My top fave is the Maya Chia The Eye Achiever!  It's a serum that's a magical miracle worker for fine lines and dark circles.  For a cream on really dry days, I love the Beautycounter Rejeuvenating Eye Cream.  And my favorite little economical bombshell is the 100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream.

Go get a facial and do them at home.

Atlanta does not have a great Clean facial spot at the moment, so this is one area where I say do-your-best and find a spa that strives for natural ingredients.  An esthetician can do some exfoliation and moisturization that works wonders!  If it's in the budget, go get yourself a facial as often as possible!  I don't do these nearly enough, but I am thinking it's about time ;)

I also do them at home.  This is one way that I get to practice a little self-care.  I take a second to assess what my skin needs and apply an at-home mask for a pick-me-up!  I LOVE THEM!  Here are my current faves:

- Leahlani Mermaid Mask - it's like a nourishing green smoothie for your face!

- One Love Organics Love + Charcoal Mask - it's detoxifying and nourishing all at the same time!

- Orgaid Organic Sheet Mask - Plumping and super moisturizing!

- Kypris Cerulean Mask - feels like a whole ocean of moisture on your face

Bump Friendly Style Guide

summer bump style

Truth time. Dressing my bump is a little more challenging this time.  I don't know my body as well because I got pregnant so quickly after having my first baby (hello extra 20 lbs).  It's a whole new territory with loving + agreeing with my body.  The obvious answer is - 'wow, my body is doing amazing things - holding and nurturing these little lives!' And I do feel that way.  I love that my body can build and grow and stretch and make a way for new life.

But, I also see a photograph and do the whole 'but I don't look like this pregnant person or that pregnant person.' Or I even will feel disappointed in my body for not being able to be more 'cute' while pregnant.  And the fear. The fear that I will forever have a poochy belly because I had my babies so close together.  When will it end?  When can we stop doing telling ourselves these things and battling our own bodies?

I have a choice.  I can spend unnecessary time shaming my body.

Or I can CELEBRATE.  I can celebrate these miracles that I prayed so long for...and feared that my body would never even have the chance to hold.  I can pray and ask God to change my perspective.  I will choose to enjoy my pregnancy.  I'll get massages this time.  I'll buy a few cute clothes that I feel pretty in.  I'll eat healthy foods that make me feel good.  I'll bake cookies if I want to.  I'll find time for prenatal yoga and take my baby on long power walks.  And I'll hold my 10 month old on my growing bump and take those moments in - for the beautiful, powerful gifts that they are.

bump friendly style guide

I have found a few items that I feel good in during my pregnancy and this summer heat.  My criteria is a little more strict this time around because I'm chasing a 10 month old.  First of all, the neckline.   If it's off-the-shoulder, I can't lift my arms to pick up my daughter.  If it's strapless, my baby will pull it down.   I can't wear a something too long because I will step on the bottom and trip if I'm holding my baby.  It can't be too short either - wayyy too much bending over these days!  And the fit just depends on my mood - somedays I want fitted and somedays, flowy.

Outfit ideas:

I love this flowy dress (I'm wearing it in these photos and it's less than $30) that looks great with my rose Birks and new hat ($35).  It's about ankle-length on my 5'3" stature, so no tripping!

This fitted black dress can be dressed up or down.  I love it alone, or with my new Kimono if I want to cover my booty ;)  These wrap sandals are so cute and affordable!

Easy, pretty pink t-shirt dress.  Best for 1st + 2nd trimester.  It's the happiest pink and I feel put together because it has a little shape.  Perfect with my rose Birks.

I got my Bump Body dress during my last pregnancy.  It is so well designed - comfortable and flattering.  It's a go-to for sure!  Cute with a hat and dainty jewelry.

Madewell Maternity Jeans. One of the reviews of these jeans said that she had tried all of the maternity jeans and these were the best! ha! I heard that they were great, but that review sold me.  And I agree - I didn't try really any others on (nor did I want to - because let's face it, being pregnant and trying on bad jeans is a terrible combo) but I LOVE these.  So flattering and comfy.   Ingrid & Isabel Maternity leggings live up to the hype!  They are comfortable, somehow really flattering and they stay up!  I got them during my last pregnancy and they are still my fave!  Gap Maternity Denim Shorts have the best length, wash and fit of any that I've tried.

I bought a Hatch Maternity Dress on eBay.  I love their minimal styles but can't personally justify the price tag.  Here's a few eBay options:  pretty red dress, baby blue dress, gorgeous black strapless I splurged on these Tory Burch flats because I can't wear heels right now but still wanted to wear some pretty shoes.  OBSESSED.  Here's another shoe option that I love!

For swim, I like classic black!  Some days, I feel comfortable in a bikini and other days, a tankini.  I have never found a one-piece that's comfortable for me (especially pregnant).  I think one pieces are so cute, but so far I haven't had any luck!

Undies. You guys, never before have comfy undies been such a priority.  Bras are so uncomfortable.  Especially my strapless ones...unless I want to wear the bandeaus that the maternity sites sell...and feel like I'm in middle school again.  The wireless strapless bra from Lively is such a gamechanger. (Get $10 off with my code AMB-therosewateredit )  I also love this padded bralette and this maternity/nursing braThese panties are just like Hanky Panky (for much less!) and these are my absolute favorite - no lines and super comfy!

My wish list: this gorgeous Free People dress, a backpack purse (less expensive version here), ummm this peach dress, this suede jacket for travel and transitioning to fall

I'm also really loving accessories.  Now I understand why moms wear hats.  You didn't have time to wash your hair, but you still want to look put together.  And dainty jewelry - something not too heavy when you feel heavy but just a little sparkle!

Minimal Summer Makeup

kjaer weis cream blush

I posted this photo in my Stories recently and received a lot of questions about which products I used, so I thought I would post a comprehensive list of all the goodness.

First of all, if you haven't gotten your hands on the Overnight Peel that I've been raving about... DO IT!  It's such a gamechanger for your skin, which means LESS MAKEUP.  And I don't know about you, but when it's scorching outside - the last thing I want to do is wear heavy makeup.  I literally keep forgetting to wear makeup because I'm so happy with how my skin looks!

On this day, I had used the PEEL two days before.  My skin was still great and I just needed minimal makeup to enhance my look.  I originally posted the photo to rave about my new BLUSH because I loved how natural it was.  And it's such a great color that you can wear with anything because it doesn't lean too far into any hue.  It was great with my bright pink dress!

Here are the goods:

Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation in Paper Thin - applied with my Beautyblender.  I love this foundation for it's beautiful finish and buildable coverage.

Beautycounter Touchup Concealer in Light - Just the right amount of coverage and not-too-matte for undereyes

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Desired Glow - The blush that goes with everything.  A little tawny/bronzey with a hint of pink.  A blush you can wear when you dress in pink ;)  I apply with my Beautyblender.

Beautycounter Eyeliner in Black - Doesn't smudge and lasts for hours.

Kjaer Weis Eyeshadow in Magnetic - Beautiful coppery, bronzey color with subtle shimmer

Honest Co Mascara + Primer - I love this mascara for the primer!  Helps my barely there lashes stand out!

MY FAVORITE NEW HIGHLIGHTER: RMS Luminizer in Champagne Rose - It's the most natural highlighter I've ever used.  Just looks like dewy skin!

Kari Gran Lip Whip in Pink Tinted - My go-to lip balm!

Innersense Pure Harmony Hairbath Shampoo + Innersense Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner

Look like you just had a facial!

beautycounter resurfacing peel

There is nothing like day-after-a-facial skin! When we were engaged, I got professional facials every 4 weeks and my skin never looked better!  I have never had any procedures done - just a facial and a peel whenever I can find the time to go.

Now, I can do the PEEL right at home - with the same results (well, minus the soothing music, massage and professional esthetician).  I posted this photo and a video in my Instagram Stories over the weekend and got so many messages...and orders!  For a product that works this well, I think the price point is fantastic!

Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel

To apply, spread 1-2 pumps on a clean face before bedtime.  Allow product to sink in and then apply moisturizer/oil/serum.  You can do this 3-4 times/week and it can even be applied every night!

In this photo, it's not totally naked skin - here's what else I have on!  But, the peel is SO GOOD and I was SO HAPPY WITH MY SKIN that I forgot mascara for the day!

Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation

Beautycounter Touchup Concealer

Vapour Aura Multi-Use in Sultry on my cheeks

Beautycounter Lipgloss in Blush Shimmer

MY FAVORITE NEW HIGHLIGHTER: RMS Luminizer in Champagne Rose - It's the most natural hightlighter I've ever used.  Just looks like dewy skin!

I hope you try the Overnight Peel!  I really think you will love it as much as I do!

**BONUS:  If you make a $100 purchase on My Beautycounter Page now through 6/24, I will personally mail a FREE GIFT to you!  All you have to do is make the purchase!  I will see it and mail a package to your mailing address!!  YAY!!**

My Latest Beauty Haul + Pregnancy Safe Products

pregnancy safe makeup

I get a lot of questions about "pregnancy safe" products.  The good news is that a majority of what I post is great for use before, during and after pregnancy!  Here's a short list of ingredients that all communities agree should be avoided during pregnancy.

mom and baby safe products

You may have heard 50 times by now that you should be using a natural deodorant.  I know - the process of finding a natural deodorant is an unfavorable one (especially in the summer time) - but there are so many great options now! If you are pregnant, I really urge you to consider it!  Conventional deodorants contain aluminum + other endocrine disruptors and if you're pregnant - you should think about these metals and toxins leaking into your glands...right beside your milk glands!  Natural deodorants are not anti-perspirants, so you will still sweat.  BUT sweating rids your body of toxins - it's a natural and essential process.  I'd rather sweat out my toxins vs. hanging on to them and having the toxins potentially reach my baby.  I recommend a few deodorant brands - but I'm loving the NEW Agent Nateur Holi(stick) Sensitive Deodorant!

pregnancy safe skincare

A great resource to read all about things to consider when it comes to Immunity and Health for pregnancy through the teen years is the book, The Vaccine Friendly Plan.  We did not necessarily follow their vaccine plan, but this book is full of information about a healthy pregnancy and details each vaccine (its history, use, ingredients, side effects).  The doctors even describe what exactly endocrine disruptors are and why to avoid them!  Whether you decide to vaccinate or follow a different a plan, this book is a great resource for pregnancy and beyond - I align with so much of what they say!  They talk about aluminum and deodorants in Chapter 1!

Non-toxic SPF for the Whole Family

nontoxic safe clean organic sunscreen

Have you heard?  As of May 1, many common sunscreens are being banned in Hawaii, due to the destruction that their ingredients cause to the coral reefs.  Read more here.  Can you imagine?  If these ingredients are so destructive to sea life, what are the effects that they are having on our bodies?  When you apply a lotion to your body, it seeps into your pores and truly effects your blood, organs and nervous system!

Label reading is a tough job and we don't always know what to look for.  I have been asked about sunscreen by SO many this summer, so I put together a list of my top favorites for your entire family.  The basic answer for you is to use products with mineral filters vs. chemical filters - look for the active ingredients of zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide. DO NOT USE products that contain oxybenzone or octinoxate.  These are the ingredients that have been banned in Hawaii and they are found in many common products at the drug store like Coppertone, Banana Boat, and Blue Lizard.

This list is a compilation of the products that I have tested and choose for our family. At the bottom of the list, you will find products that I would choose (and not choose) at Target if I found myself without sunscreen and had to make a quick Target run.  They aren't my top choices, but this happened to me recently and I had to make a decision, based on their selection.  If you can, order your products ahead of time from one of these superior choices - but in a dash, I've got you covered ;)

LIVE Botanical Review + GIVEAWAY

live botanicals

**GIVEAWAY and COUPON CODE at the bottom**

My new LIVE Botanical skincare routine from Pretty Pure Beauty is nothing short of refreshing.  It's the perfect, simple Summer skincare - a Cleansing Scrub to buff the sweat and oil away, a Rose + Seaberry Nourishing Moisture Elixir to refresh the skin and an Overnight Resurfacing Oil to do the hardwork while you sleep.  No. brainer.

SAVE 15% with my code ROSEWATER

live botanicals review

Step 1:

Roots + Grains Cleansing Scrub:  This fine, soft (not course) cleansing scrub smells of green tea + dandelion.  It can be used as a cleanser alone, or you can leave it on for 15-20 minutes as a clarifying mask.  I NEED this scrub in the summer because my skin feels heavy at the end of the day from the sweat, oil and pore-clogging residue from the summer heat.  After this scrub, I feel lighter + more refreshed.

Step 2:

Rose + Seaberry Nourishing Moisture Elixir:  I've already sprayed it on my face 3 times while writing this post because it's SO refreshing.  You can really detect all of the botanicals when you spray, making for an uplifting experience.  The rosewater (!!!) and aloe add hydration to your skin, while herbs and botanicals (think seaberry, sunflower and sea kelp) help to tone your skin.  Spray liberally after cleansing and HELLO GLOW.

Step 3:

Fruit Enzymes + Starflower Overnight Resurfacing Oil:  The first thing that you'll notice is that the oil is bright blue!!  Thank you, Blue Tansy for your amazing resurfacing properties.  And you can thank the pineapple, starflower and pumpkin for the brightening.  This oil is meant to be used overnight and I wake up to hydrated, supple skin.  It's LOVE!

Let's be honest - finding the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type can take a lot of effort.  Especially, if you are switching over to CLEANER products.  You don't know the brands.  You're not sure how your hair will respond.  I'll be for the first to admit that haircare is one of the last switches that I've made to Clean Beauty.  I don't play around when it comes to my hair!

I'm here to tell you that there are some excellent natural hair care brands out there!!  I've tried so many and I think the very first natural brand you should try is Phillip AdamPhillip Adam is a haircare line that's based in Canada and the products are natural and EFFECTIVE!  I'm currently using the Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner and it has made my hair shiny, healthy, manageable and it doesn't weigh my hair down!

natural shampoo

Apple Cider Vinegar is great for hair because it helps to balance the pH level of your scalp.  My hair can be oily and dry at the same time, so the balancing effect does wonders for my hair! ACV also adds shine, reduces frizz and prevents dandruff!

I have struggled with my hair for over a year with pregnancy hormones, postpartum (hello crazy hair loss) and now with a second pregnancy.  The pH balance effect of the Apple Cider Vinegar really has worked for me, as I have been battling crazy hormone changes!

You can SHOP Phillip Adam online HERE.  It can also be found in many health stores, including Whole Foods!

Thanks to Phillip Adam for sponsoring this post!

Here's to a good hair day!

Let's talk about VAPOUR ORGANIC BEAUTY

vapour

**Use my code ROSEWATER for 10% OFF of your Vapour Purchase!!**

I am seriously impressed with this brand.  And seriously in love.

Favorite foundation? Check.

Favorite concealer?  Check.

Amazing cream blush? Check.

Best clean deodorant?  Check.

vapour foundation

I mean.  Come on.  And as if I didn't love them enough, Vapour just extended their Atmosphere Foundation line to 19 different shades and Illusionist Concealer to 18 shades!  So many skin tones are represented.  This makes me so happy!  Not to mention, the Soft Focus Foundation now comes in glass bottles!!  The BEST!

vapour deodorant

How to get this look:

I apply my Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation (I wear shade s115) with my Beautyblender.  I wet the Beautyblender with water or rosewater and apply with soft strokes.  I then apply my Illusionist Concealer (I wear shade 015) to my undereyes with my finger.  The concealer has such a reflective property, that I don't feel like I have to use very much because it reflects so much light and makes my undereyes appear lighter.   Next, I swipe my Beautyblender on my Aura Multi-Use in Courtesan.  I dab the color to the apples of my cheeks for a beautiful blush.   I use my finger to apply a little of the color to my lips.

The Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation (I wear shade s115) is a medium-to-full coverage foundation that is the dewiest and glowiest!  It's so pretty - I just feel like I look healthy and youthful as soon as I put it on!!  The Illusionist Concealer is pretty full coverage, I feel like a little goes a long way!  Like I said, it is super reflective, so light just bounces off of it like crazy! I have the Aura Multi-Use Blush in Sultry and Courtesan - they blend in so well, giving the prettiest flush to my cheeks!

Now, let's talk about this deodorant.  I use the AER Next-level Deodorant in Ginger Grapefruit and I got mine from Aillea Beauty.  It is a gel-to-powder formula that works.  Everyone's chemical makeup is so different and you really have to find the deodorant that works for you.  The AER is mine.  I don't feel like I constantly need to reapply and it is really working for me!  Bonus - it smells SO GOOD.

Don't you just want to try it all??

Spring Refresh with Aillea

aillea

I had the chance to host an amazing SPRING PARTY at one of my favorite places - Aillea!  If you don't know about Aillea, they are Atlanta's newest Clean Beauty Boutique with locations in Charleston and Denver too!  Becca (Store Manager), Shae, Erica and all of the ladies at the shop are incredibly knowledgeable and just the kindest people!  I love going there for all of the latest + greatest in Clean Beauty!  For those of you that aren't in one of the cities where you can visit a brick-and-mortar stores, Aillea has an excellent online store where you can shop their curated collection of the best brands in Clean Beauty!

Last night, we gathered in the gorgeous shop in Buckhead Atlanta for a Spring Party.  There was wine, snacks and ALLLLL of the product testing you could imagine.  I love how all of the guests rolled up their sleeves and tested just about everything in the store!

I took some time during the evening to share my journey with Clean Beauty and named my TOP PICKS for SPRING!   Since some of you couldn't make it ;) I have them all listed below for you!!

Suntegrity Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 - We ALL need a good sunscreen for the warmer days ahead.  This one is my pick for beach and pool days.  The active ingredient in Zinc Oxide.  It rubs in smoothly (not pastey) and the unscented versiou is safe for kids and babies, too!!

RMS Magic Luminizer - I have loved the Living Luminizer for so long, but lately I have kicked it up a notch with this GORGEOUS highlighter.  I use it on my cheeks, my eyes and pretty much everywhere I want to glow!

Osmia Organics Facial Soaps - These are my go-to cleansers right now. I've tried the Black Clay and the Pumpkin and it's LOVE.  They take off my makeup, clear my skin and I don't feel dry after I use them.  Last night, Shae from Aillea mentioned that she cuts her bars to make them easy for travel.  I thought that was brilliant!  Let me tell you, these last forever.

Lily Lolo Eye Palette- Such a great swap for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.  Gorgeous, neutral colors.  No chemicals, talc, or artificial preservatives.  Don't you want that kind of product sitting on your eyes all day?

Mun Anarose Toner- I raved about this product here.  Made with my namesake, rosewater.  It has a balanced pH to truly neutralize and balance your skin.  Love, love, love. Especially to clear pores in the warmer months, when we are a little..um..dewier.  Our sweat can be pore clogging and it's the perfect time to start using a toner!

Some guests even snagged some of the last remaining Green Beauty Icon Boxes!  There are a few left and it's SUCH a great DEAL!  Almost $70 off of amazing products!  It even includes 2 of my own picks, the RMS Magic Luminizer and Osmia Organics Black Clay Facial Soap!  See my review here

What are you switching up in your routine for Spring?

I must say, I am LOVING the Agent Nateur Holi(oil) and have been using it nightly for weeks as my night time moisturizer!!  If you want a serum that is moisturizing AND changes the look of your skin - THIS IS IT.  It penetrates DEEP to work on fine lines, hyperpigmentation, heal scars and replenish collagen.  I have really noticed a difference in my skin and I'm not looking back!

All of the ingredients in the Agent Nateur Holi(oil) are organic and wildcrafted.  They are sourced from small suppliers to insure the highest grade of natural oils!  It is a thick, effective oil that truly feels nourishing.  I love seeing RESULTS in my skin without having to turn to chemicals!

Jenna, the founder of Agent Nateur, started the company out of her kitchen.  Her own health issues led her to create a natural deodorant, free of heavy metals and toxins.  I LOVE the Holi(stick) deodorant!  She is now expanding into other care items, including the Holi(oil).  Jenna's products are always high quality and she is meticulous with ingredients.  I also recommend following @agentnateur on Instagram for interesting posts involving our hormones.

Pearly Whites

charcoal toothpaste

I just have to share one of my recent favorite finds for you!  I am loving the Terra & Co Brilliant Black Toothpaste to help with stains on my teeth and restore them to a shiny white!  I have noticed such a difference in only a few days!  I actually noticed a huge difference with just the first use, but told myself I had to trial the product a few more times before posting my review ;)

If you are looking for something to easily incorporate into your routine (without having to sit around with slimey bleach on your teeth), I really recommend the Terra & Co Brilliant Black Toothpaste Set!  I use the bamboo toothbrush for travel - as opposed to my Sonicare that I use regularly at home!

**I should also mention that I still use conventional toothpaste most of the time, due to extensive (and expensive) dental work that I've had to have done as a result of a bad bicycle accident.  I use this Terra & Co Toothpaste intermediately and mostly for cosmetic purposes.  Although, you can certainly use it as your only toothpaste.  As always, consult your dentist!**

xoxo Lauren
